Reasonable Assurance

Reasonable Assurance is a new play devised by Hatch Arts Collective. Collaborating with a group of undergraduate students, local artists, and several adjunct faculty members, Hatch generated new performance material over a four-week devised theater intensive. The process involved conversation, reading, and performance exercises related to student debt, college and university governance, and the experience of the adjunct instructor. The 30-minute piece premiere at Bricolage theater in Pittsburgh on March 26th, 2015.

In September 2015, the Center for the Study of Academic Labor at Colorado State University invited Hatch to share Reasonable Assurance with CSU faculty and staff through a screening and performance-making workshop.
