Gloria

at Nova Place on Pittsburgh’s Northside
Hatch Arts Collective presents the Pulitzer-nominated Gloria by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins from July 20 to August 5, 2018 at Nova Place on Pittsburgh’s Northside. Directed by Adil Mansoor, Gloria follows a group of young professionals in a gripping story about office work, career ambitions, and the publishing industry. Amid competition, workplace tensions, and overwhelming anxieties, is it still possible to leave a legacy in a world that’s in constant upheaval and distress? Who “owns” a memory, and whose story is deemed worthy of publishing? Gloria demands we look at the dehumanizing cost of our obsession with violence, pain, and the power to tell a story.
